I think I may have just been offered my dream job.

Starting pay $60k a year(a 20k raise with annual increases). 75% travel, just fixing shit, all expenses paid while I'm on the road(my cat vanished, the last girl was let go, just didn't work out, no ties to any place at all). So really one week a month I'll be spending my own money. The rest of the time it just accumulates in the bank.

I'm not entirely certain, but the guy that would be hiring me(same company, it's a promotion)just told me we should talk about moving me into his department. I'm not sure if it's because I handle the accounts he manages well enough so he doesn't ever have to worry about anything, or we love to get pissed together every other week. Probably a combination of the two.

You know what, as of 51 minutes ago, by my clock at least. I'm 27.This means on this day, 27 years ago, I was cut free from the gut of my mommy, just like a malignant tumor. And it fucking rules. I'm really happy about it. I know that only 2 of you are going to have shit to say, and I'll be given even less. But fuck it all. I made it another year and you're all still here, and that matters to me.

This time 40 years from now, I'll be looking into diapers and homes. And sending out another of these emails, I assume the list will have changed by then.

Twenty Seven years on this rock and what do I have to show for it? Well, me. It hasn't all been good, but it's all been worth it.

I have a new job, that I'm very interested in doing as well as I can. I know that the world is full of shit,but on the other hand it's full of joy. I've learned so much about being a human being. And I wouldn't trade any of it, the regrets, the stupid cock driven mistakes, the learning, etc.

My god, I'm old. I can clearly remember being much younger amongst(and with) most of you.
